I am Mr. Luis Vazquez. This will be my sixth year here at Yates Mill Elementary. I truly enjoy working with students, parents, and our school staff. The Yates Mill Community has become a beautiful addition to my family. I am the school SIS Data Manager and you may also see me in our aftercare program.

A bit about me and life away from the office: I was born in Mexico and raised just right outside of Downtown Raleigh. I have been living in NC for 27 years. I attended WCPSS growing up(ES: Farmington Woods/Cary, MS: Reedy Creek, HS: Cary). I have a beautiful daughter in fourth grade, Penelope, that attends Yates Mill and keeps me busy! Growing up I played baseball (Still love it) and soccer. I love to watch baseball (Go Yanks!) and movies! My favorite actor is Matthew McConaughey. Anywhere there is food, I am sure to be there. I just stay away from tomatoes!
