Resources for digital citizenship & media literacy
Upon registering for school each student will need to have a TECHNOLOGY USE FORM filled out in order to receive a Chromebook and have access to all technology. If you have not been able to receive a laptop or have access to Wake ID, please fill out form and bring to the Wakefield HS front office so your accounts can be enabled.

If you would like to order pictures or view proofs from underclass picture day, you can log in at http://cady.com/orderphotos to view and order your 2025-2026 school pictures! Retakes and makeups for 9th-11th graders will be on Thursday, November 6th.
Amnesty International is still recruiting new members for this school year. We meet most Wednesdays during Pack Time A, in room 210, and we work on activities to spread awareness about human rights.
Attention POETS! Remember that the Spoken Word Contest sponsored by United Arts and Raleigh Fine Arts has a deadline of NOV. 9. PLUS, we just learned about another opportunity for Spoken Word artists to enter their work into Poetry Out Loud Contest with a deadline of Nov. 21st. You can learn more about these Contests from information fliers and QR codes that the library has posted. This is your month to share your voice Poets. Don't miss your chance.
VIP application for Q1 has past. Applications are OPEN for Q2 but close on Nov. 3rd. Remember this is for a quiet place to study or read during Lunch. NO EATING. And remember that if you are interested in a more social and active place during lunch - please stay in the commons.
