Meet the Coach Night

Meet the Coach Night is Thursday, May 20th at 6:00pm. This is open to all rising freshman and transfers who will be attending Wakefield next year.  Come and hear from our Athletic Director, Sports Medicine, and Booster Club. Meet coaches and get information about summer workouts and fall tryouts.

Men's Golf News in MAY

(updated May 13)  Isaiah Adel shot an even par 144(72-72) to finish tied for 3rd place in the NCHSAA 2026 8A state finals! This featured many of the best golfers in the state. It was held at the difficult yet luxurious Pinehurst Number 8 golf course. 

Chromebook UPDATES and REPAIRS

• UPDATE your Chromebook to version 138 or higher for testing apps to work.  (Use settings and search "updates").  

• ANY REPAIRS to Chromebooks (or tracking lost ones)  MUST be submitted week of May 22, in order to be fixed in time for exam period.
  • After the cutoff date for the school year the district will NOT do repairs or replacements after the 29th, and repairs will roll over into next year. 
  • Students are allowed only one replacement per school year so it is essential they take care of repairs now, so they start off next year fresh.
• Remind students to bring fully charged devices to school for testing.

Are you a graduating Senior? moving away from WCPSS? Or a WCPSS employee who is leaving?  If you want to save any of your files from your WCPSS GOOGLE Drive, please follow instructions HERE (https://leaving.wcpss.net/)  Once you leave your Google drive will be disabled.
