Resources for digital citizenship & media literacy
Upon registering for school each student will need to have a TECHNOLOGY USE FORM filled out in order to receive a Chromebook and have access to all technology. If you have not been able to receive a laptop or have access to Wake ID, please fill out form and bring to the Wakefield HS front office so your accounts can be enabled.

Wakefield's Science Olympiad team competed in the Raleigh Regional Tournament the Saturday before Spring Break. The tournament consists of 18 different Science Events. We received 5th place in Circuit Lab, 4th Place in Code Busters, 1st Place in Electric Vehicle, 2nd Place in Helicopter, 4th Place in Machines, 5th Place in Remote Sensing, and 5th Place in Water Quality. Overall, the team finished in 7th Place out of 16 local high schools. If you see any members, be sure to congratulate them!
The Wakefield Literary Club is sponsoring a Children's BOOK DRIVE from March 23 - April 17. While you are Spring Cleaning, find those new or lightly read Children's books (age 1 - 12) that we will collect and deliver to WAKE UP and READ. Drop off is at entrance of Wakefield Library Media Center. Club hours are available (5 books = 1 hours).
Wakefield beat rivals Heritage, Wake Forest and Rolesville in a tri-match at Heritage on the quite nice Tuesday afternoon. Gavin Hazen shot a -3, 33, to lead the team to victory. Juniors Mason Faircloth(37), Isaiah Adel(38) and senior Elijah Alston(39) all posted scores to help secure the victory.
