Hi! My name is Samantha McLean and I am so grateful to be a part of such an incredible group of educators here at Oakview Elementary! I graduated from East Carolina University, in 2013, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. I am a true Pirate through and through! I am entering my 10th year of teaching, 9 of which have been in Kindergarten. I couldn't imagine myself in any other grade level and I joke that I will be teaching Kindergarten at the ripe age of 90! I am newly married to my high school sweetheart and we just welcomed our first child, Emslee, in November! Teaching is my passion, more like an obsession at this point, and I dedicate my life to it! My husband and I live here in Holly Springs with our 14 year old dog child Chloe, an energetic Boxer. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my little pumpkin, shopping, or at the beach! I could not be more excited to spend the year team teaching with my best friend and loving on our new Kindergarten cuties!
