Hi! My name is Anne Elizabeth Carter and I'm excited to be a kindergarten teacher at Oakview Elementary!

 

I was born and raised in North Carolina...Go Heels! I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I graduated with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. 

 

I live in Holly Springs with my husband, 3 girls and dog. My husband, Mr. Carter, is a 5^th grade teacher here at Oakview. We met many years ago at the Wake County Job Fair! I enjoy exercising, Netflix and spending time with my family and friends.

 

 I have been teaching kindergarten for 17 years; early childhood literacy instruction is my passion! I am blessed to be able to support students socially, emotionally and academically as they transition into elementary school.
