I am thrilled to be an Oakview Owl and I am so excited for the upcoming school year! I grew up in Garner, NC and attended Wake County Public Schools. In 2005, I graduated from East Carolina University (Go, Pirates!) with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading. My teaching career began at Rand Road Elementary School, the same school I attended as a child. I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade at Holly Grove Elementary School. This will be my seventh year teaching Kindergarten at Oakview. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my adorable dog, Darcy. I love teaching Kindergarten and I look forward to an #owlsome school year!
