I am so happy to be part of the RES family, working together to help your children learn and grow! I have admired my teachers since preschool, and knew I wanted to make a career of it since then. I moved from Ohio to attend Appalachian State University where I got my degree in Elementary Education. My husband and I live right here in Rolesville, with our two boys and dog, Leeroy! When I'm not at school you might find me camping in the mountains, crafting, or eating Mexican food! :) You'll also hear of me jetting off to Ohio quite frequently to visit my parents who still live there, as well as my 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and all of their cute kids! 

I have been teaching at Rolesville Elementary since 2014! I graduated from Meredith College twice! In 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Child Development and my license to teach Kindergarten through Sixth Grade students and in 2021, I completed my Master of Education Degree in Reading.  I moved to North Carolina in 2000 and went to school at the Franklin Academy, it's always fun to know that I grew up playing on the same baseball field your own children use now! I love reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with my family and my friends! I love teaching at Rolesville Elementary because of the community- getting to see families grow and change over the years has been a really rewarding part of my career here at RES!
