Hello!  I am so happy to be the School Psychologist for students and families of Oakview Elementary and Holly Ridge Middle. This is my 29^th year as a School Psychologist. I am a native North Carolinian and grew up in the small, southeastern town of Clinton. I am a NC Teaching Fellow recipient and completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University. GO PACK! After receiving my graduate degree in School Psychology from East Carolina University, I completed my internship in Cumberland County. I worked in Cumberland and Johnston Counties before joining the WCPSS Psychological Services staff in 2005. In 2013, I was very honored to be selected as the North Carolina School Psychology Association Practitioner of the Year. I serve on the School Psychology Mentor Team and Traumatic Brain Injury Team for WCPSS. I am a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the North Carolina School Psychology Association. Professionally, I enjoy mentoring early career psychologists and providing school-based supervision to practicum and intern students.  Personally, I enjoy spending every possible moment with family (my husband and I are proud parents to two fantastic young adults!), attending concerts with friends, working in the yard, bird watching, stargazing, cooking, floating in the pool, searching for shells on the beach and wearing flip flops!
