This is my 14th year of teaching Healthful living in Wake County.  I grew up in Butner, North Carolina. Growing up I only traveled to Raleigh to go to Crabtree Mall or to the State Fair.  After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), I first taught at Millbrook High School and made stops at Durant Road Middle, the inaugural year of Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy, and eight years later I find myself back at Durant Road Middle.  I loved my time here and I am happy to be back.  I look forward to the many new memories we will make through online learning and much more when we return to a typical school schedule.  GO DOLPHINS!
