Ms. Mullins
My name is Amanda Mullins and I have been serving as the Occupational Therapist at North Forest Pines since 2015. I have 10 years of experience as an OT. Prior to working in the school, I worked in adult inpatient rehab focusing on neurological and physical impairments. I loved the excitement of working in a level 1 trauma hospital but had to return to my true love of working with children with disabilities. I graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Special Education and my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy with a graduate certification in Assistive Technology. I love working with students to help them reach their full potential.
I am a North Carolina native. I married my college sweetheart in 2012 and we have a 6-year-old daughter, 2-year-old son, and a 12-year-old miniature dachshund. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, boating, hiking, crafting, eating good food, and being near the water (lake or beach).
