Our Fall and Spring Needs Assessments

Our school counseling program addresses equity and access by utilizing our fall and spring Needs Assessments. We contact all of our families to assess their needs and to determine families who are able to provide extra support to others.

    Second Step Social-Emotional Learning Program

In addition, the Second Step classroom counseling program is research-based, equitable and accessed by every grade level in the school. The program helps all students perform at the same level and meet children's individual needs, which will help them succeed in school and in the future.

    The UCares Team

Comprised of multi-disciplinary staff, the team meets every other week to review data, current and future student needs and how to address them, and what our school and staff need in order to best meet the needs of all of our students equitably.

The Student Support Services Professional Learning Community

Comprised of the school counselor, school psychologist and school social worker, this PLC meets every other week to collaborate, consult, to streamline services, and to provide wrap-around support.
