Social Studies Department
Overview
Starting with the Class of 2024, our students have four required courses within the social studies department. This includes:
- World History (or AP World History)
- Civic Literacy (or AP Government & Politics)
- American History (or AP US History)
- Economics & Personal Finance
Elective courses within the social studies department include the following:
- African American Studies
- Contemporary Law & Justice
- Conversations in Diversity
- Holocaust & Genocide
- Psychology
- AP course options include European History, Human Geography, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Psychology.
Exact course offerings each year are based on student demand and availability of staff.
