    Hello ELC Families!

We hope all of our amazing mothers, grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, and special caregivers had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend filled with love and celebration! Thank you for all you do to support our students and school community each day. As we move further into May, our classrooms continue to stay busy with hands-on learning, exciting discoveries, and lots of growth. We are looking forward to a fun and meaningful end to the school year together!

    🌱 What We’re Learning

This week, students will continue exploring our Plants Study through hands-on investigations, conversations, books, and classroom activities. Students are learning about how plants grow, what they need to survive, and the important role plants play in our world.

    Staff Celebrations

Please help us congratulate Ms. Kierra and Ms. Candice on their 2026 graduations! We are so proud of their accomplishments and dedication to learning and growth. We would also like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Ms. Carsyn! 🎂

    🚗 Carpool & Dismissal Reminder

    • For the safety of all students and staff, please remain in your car during arrival and dismissal. A staff member will safely assist your child into their car seat. Thank you for helping us keep carpool safe and running smoothly for everyone!

    • Supervising children closely in parking lot areas-please be sure a child arrives safely inside the school building and is accompanied by an adult.

    • Communicating transportation changes before 1:30 PM whenever possible

    🛝 Safety Reminders for Families

As the weather gets warmer and we spend more time outdoors, please continue to help us keep students safe by ensuring children arrive with weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes for playground play. Thank you for partnering with us to keep all students safe!

💙 A Note from Ms. Williams

Thank you again for helping us celebrate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! Our staff truly felt loved and appreciated by the thoughtful notes, treats, and support from families. We are grateful for the partnership we share with each of you and appreciate all you do to support our ELC family.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are excited to continue making special memories with our students while celebrating all the growth they have made this year!

    Have a wonderful week!
