Bank of America Student Leaders Program
For current Juniors and Seniors. Be able to participate in an 8‐week paid internship at a local nonprofit/charitable organization and work 35 hours a week.
Boston University Summer Programs for High School Students
Boston University offers several summer programs for high school students. Programs vary in duration, restrictions in age, receiving college credit and deadlines.
As a Summer Challenge student, you can choose any two seminars from the list of 20. Each seminar is designed to expand your academic horizons, through lectures, discussions, individual and group work, and project-based assignments - even field trips.
Campbell University Discovery Day
Discovery Day is an interactive workshop for rising 9th – 12th graders to explore careers in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research and nursing.
Cannon Music Camp @ ASU
A three-week music-filled retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Cannon Music Camp offers the most comprehensive course of musical instruction in the Southeast, with intensive college preparatory work in performance and music theory. Campers participate in daily ensemble rehearsals and music theory classes in an atmosphere that elevates everyone's musicianship. Open to serious student musicians who are rising high school freshman to graduating seniors..
Clemson University Summer Scholars
This is an on-campus, residential summer experience for academically gifted middle and high school students. Students take a course of interest with a university instructor and study that subject through hands-on learning, experiments, lectures and sometimes even field trips. In the afternoons/evenings, scholars have the opportunity to tour and explore campus, speak with representatives from Admissions and the Calhoun Honors College.
Cornell University Summer College
Summer College Programs for High School Students offer talented high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to study at Cornell for two, three, or six weeks; earn an average of three to six college credits; take college courses with leading Cornell faculty members; explore careers and majors; attend admissions workshops; and much more.
Duke STAR Program
This eight-week program will give participants who are interested in science and medicine real hands-on experience in research methodology and writing. Participants are placed in teams and matched with Duke faculty mentors to work on an original, hypothesis-driven project, originating as a one-page summary and culminating in a complete research paper. A goal of the program is to have every participant qualify for co-authorship on a peer-reviewed manuscript related to their team’s project.
Emory Pre-College Program
The Emory Pre-College Program is a summer academic program for high school students. It gives college-bound rising juniors and rising seniors an exciting glimpse of academic and residential life at a top-ranked national university.
Envision Experience
This program offers a wide variety of workshops on different topics for high school students at many locations throughout the US. See specific programs for each registration date.
Georgetown Medical Academy
The 1-Week Medical Academy introduces you to the field of medicine and gives you a glimpse into the Georgetown University Medical Center, which includes the nationally ranked School of Medicine and School of Nursing & Health Studies, in addition to the world-renowned Lombardi Cancer Center.
Hollins University Summer Educational Camps
Five educational summer camps combine learning and fun for rising 9th-12th-grade girls at one of Virginia’s most beautiful campuses. Choose from entrepreneurship, science, theatre, equestrian, and writing.
iD Tech
Online learning, or summer camps on coding, game development, robotics or design.
Junior Statesman Summer Program
JSA Summer School gives students access to rigorous college-level classes on the campuses of some of the most prestigious universities in the world. In addition to classes in topics like international relations, constitutional law and speech & political communication, speakers programs, debate workshops, and social activities help equip students with vital leadership skills.

Miami (OH) University Summer Scholars Program
The Summer Scholars Program provides a rich, early college experience for academically talented rising high school juniors and seniors from across the globe. Students will join an engaged community of learners for an intense, two-week program.
Medical Immersion Summer & Spring Academy
MISA works to expose pre-med and pre-health high school students to hands-on clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings that will provide them with a competitive edge as they begin their own career in health.
This program is for 11th and 12th graders interested in exploring careers in research and healthcare.
National Youth Science Academy
The NYSCamp is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program hosted in West Virginia. Students will have an opportunity to conduct research at the nearby Green Bank Observatory and to explore the surrounding Monongahela National Forest through backpacking, mountain biking, caving, rock climbing, and kayaking.
NC School of Science and Math Summer Accelerator Program
Accelerator courses for 10th - 12th graders are conducted over three weeks. The first two weeks of each course take place virtually,at the student's own pace. The third week of each course takes place on campus, either in Durham or Brevard, NC.
NC State College of Engineering Summer Camp
Each summer, the College of Engineering at NC State University offers rising 9th and 10th grade high school students the opportunity to experience engineering at NC State. They offer multidisciplinary week-long day camps that provides an experience into how engineers solve problems.
NC State Department of Music Technology Camp
Designed for high school students with an interest in the intersections between music, engineering and computers, the Music Technology Camp introduces students to audio engineering and digital music composition through experiential learning.
NC State Design Camp
Design Camp is a multi-discipline pre-college design program organized by the NC State Design Lab for high school and middle school students. Held each summer, Design Camp informs students about the study of design and raises awareness of the impact of design on all aspects of our everyday lives. The design thinking skills and creative experience gained can empower students on their path toward becoming innovative problem solvers and prepare them to tackle the challenges of the future.
NC State VetCamp
NC State’s annual VetCAMP is a 5 day summer camp hosted by the Veterinary Professional Advising Center (VetPAC) at North Carolina State University. Since 2011, this camp has been educating students about careers in veterinary medicine and the various opportunities within the field.
Oxford Royale Academy Summer Schools
Each summer, motivated students from across the globe join Oxford Royale Academy’s award-winning summer schools in the UK. During their time with Oxford Royale, participants have the opportunity to explore and discuss their chosen subjects in great detail with ORA’s experienced and passionate faculty, while living and studying in top educational institutions across the UK.
Shelton Leadership Challenge
The Shelton Challenge is a six-day residential experience to help students expand their knowledge and skills of what it takes to be a leader. Designed for rising 9th - 12 grade students.
STEM Camp at Campbell University
Registration for STEM Camp includes a $150 non-refundable fee per student.
Tuffs Pre-College Summer Program
This program allows motivated high school students to enroll in Tufts Undergraduate-level courses, studio art workshops, and (during the summer) capstone College Prep workshops. This program is flexible, allowing you to take only the classes you need to meet your academic goals.
United States Naval Academy Summer Programs
Offers several summer programs to high school students who are interested in joining the Navy or have an interest in STEM.
Virginia Tech's Black College Institute
Must be a rising junior or senior in high school, be interested in attending Virginia Tech, and be highly motivated and academically curious.
William Peace University Summer Camps
Come to the beautiful campus in downtown Raleigh for an immersive learning experiences. Small camp sizes mean you get individualized attention. This one-credit hour camp will get you started in earning credit toward your college degree!
