Description

The National Honor Society recognizes outstanding juniors and seniors in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. In conjunction with NAS, NHS provides tutoring for MHS students through Tutor Cats and volunteers with Buddy Buddy. Additionally, NHS members complete service activities throughout the year.

Requirements

All juniors and seniors with a 3.6 unweighted GPA are invited to complete an application to join.

Procedure for Joining

Juniors and seniors with at least a 3.6 GPA are invited to fill out an application to join NHS. The application focuses on leadership experience and service completed during high school. Applications are scored on the four areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
