I am so excited to be a part of the Green Elementary Family this year! This will be my 32nd year as a teacher!!! I taught First Grade for 28 years and served as a K-5 Interventionist for the last 3 years. As a classroom teacher and an interventionist, I love being able to meet the students where they are and help them build upon their skills. I also enjoy being able to build their confidence and perseverance as they start to see themselves as learners, even if it is hard at first. I was born in North Carolina and have lived here all my life. I have been married to my wonderful husband Troy for 17 years. I love to travel to the beach and the mountains, read, listen to live music, and take walks in the park.
