Hi Everyone! I am Coach Devine and I am stoked begin my first year of teaching and to be Green Magnet Elementary's Physical Education teacher! I graduated in May with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from East Carolina University. ROLL PIRATES! Outside of teaching I love anything involved with the water and am also a swim coach! Some of my favorite physical activities include: swimming, tennis, pickleball and cornhole. On the weekends you can find me hanging out with my friends and family, at the pool or watching football. My goal for Green Elementary's PE program is to inspire and engage all students in physical activity while promoting safety, collaboration and leadership within the gym. I look forward to meeting everyone and for an absolutely great school year!

I am so happy to return as the Art Teacher here at Green Elementary! I have been living in North Carolina since graduating from college. When I am not at school or creating art, I like to play tennis, cook, walk my dog Addy, and spend time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to another great year!

Hello! I'm Mrs. McKenna. This is my fifth year teaching a Media Special class at Green. I am originally from South Korea and have lived in Durham since 2005. I graduated from both North Carolina Central University and East Carolina University with a Master's degree in Library Science. When I have free time, I enjoy watching K-dramas, cooking healthy food, listening to music, shopping, and spending time with my family. It will be another fantastic year!

My name is Jon’Nesha Stevens. I am originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee and I now reside in Durham, North Carolina. My alma mater is Fisk University (Nashville, TN) where I performed with the world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers. I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Master of Music in Choral Music Education. As a music teacher it is my goal to inspire students to be their most creative and musical selves. I am excited to begin my 11th year at Green and I hope to see you soon!

Hello, my name is Roderick Taylor. I am thrilled to join the Green Family! Prior to my arrival here at Green, I taught 5th grade Science and Social Studies the past 4 years. I’m originally from Oxford, NC. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, my family, watching sports, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
