Student Collaboration with Professional Artists

Student Collaboration with Professional Artists

  • Guest Artists Program

At East Millbrook, we are fortunate to have esteemed guest artists who act as mentors to our students. These professionals share their passion for the arts and inspire our students through captivating performances, master classes, workshops and residencies. In the past eight years, over thirty teaching artists and professional artists have enriched our students' creative growth.

    Nurturing Empathy and Academic Achievement

Studies show that students who engage in arts education during their school years demonstrate increased empathy and academic achievement. We witness the positive impact of arts education on our students' personal growth and academic success. We firmly believe that a well-rounded education encompasses artistic expression and its profound influence on personal growth and academic success.

In 2022, the Academy celebrated a return to in-person learning after the pandemic. We hosted a special series of workshops and residency experiences which included 13 professional artists on our campus in one semester of learning.
