Tuesday, April 30th we are having our 1st annual EM3 Book Drive Event! Will take place from 6pm-8pm.

The purpose of this event is to collect books in order to give every student at East Millbrook an opportunity to take home one book, and not as a loaner, for free for the summer. Essentially a book fair minus the fees. A book they can keep and read in their own time without any fees, fines, or return date. (Students will receive books during the first week of June.)

Reading is fundamental to education, expanding creativity, comprehension, and enhancing critical thinking skills. Books are for EVERYONE. Money should not be a factor regardless of economic status.  

 

Donations are NOT required to attend the event, just encouraged and appreciated to help create our schools Free Book Fair.

 

Donations and books are the two sources of fundraising needed to create our Book Fair. Funds donated will be used to buy books. Books donated that are new or in excellent condition and that are grade level appropriate will be used. Any books donated outside of our school's reading age, or that are in less than fair condition will be donated to non-profit reading organizations.
