    AIG Basics: Grades 3, 4 and 5

Students identified as Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG)  are given the opportunity to expand their knowledge through extensive instructional support in core classes as well as through elective classes. They are clustered for daily English Language Arts (ELA) and Math instruction.  These students also have the opportunity to participate in specially designated AIG elective classes.

    Differentiation: K-5

Students are flexibly grouped for ELA and Math instruction based on assessment data. This targeted instruction allows each child to master concepts while being continually challenged at his or her level of development. Opportunities for acceleration are available to our K-2 students through our Nurturing Program as well as electives.
