Hello! I am thrilled to start my thrilled year at Kingswood Elementary. I grew up in Montreal, Canada, but moved to the Triangle 20 years ago. I have a bachelor's in communications and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I love to learn new things, watch movies, and spend time with my family and friends. 

This is my 15th year at Kingswood Elementary. I love being part of the Kingswood family/Community. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with my students and their families. I love nothing more than to attend sporting/musical events and graduations from current and former students. I am here for the long haul! I moved to North Carolina from Miami, Florida in 2000. I taught in inner city Dade County for 8 years and Baucom Elementary in Apex before landing at Kingswood. I have both a BS and MS in Elementary Education (K-6) and an ESL certification. I have taught everything from Kindergarten–high school and adult ESL.

Hi, my name is Ms. Megan! This will be my second year teaching at Kingswood! I am so excited to start 5th grade this year. I grew up in Cary and attended Wake County Public Schools from K-12. I attended NC State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM and a minor in Psychology. I enjoy reading, soccer, pickleball, painting, crocheting, and hanging out with my family in my free time!
