Established at RHS in 2015, the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) celebrates the artistic and academic achievements of exceptional dance students. Student induction into the NHSDA is awarded on the basis of points earned for meritorious work in dance. Other factors may include the following: dance class grade point average, cooperative teamwork, motivation, outreach, choreography, performance, teaching and production. Inductees receive a gold pin and Certificate of Membership, added prestige in scholarship applications and future resumes, wear NHSDA honor cords during graduation ceremonies and are eligible to apply for the NDEO Artistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award.

Must meet specific grade requirements to get in, must apply and then do 10 service hours. More information on service hours will be coming soon.
Qualifications
SNHS is open to juniors and seniors. Must have an unweighted GPA of 3.25 and must have only A's and B's in science classes - no final grade of a C or lower. Also, must plan to take an AP science before they graduate. CCP science classes count too. Finally, must have taken 3 science classes to get in and must have taken 4 science classes to wear a cord at graduation.

Description: The goal of the Ramettes is to inspire all dancers to have and promote discipline, self-esteem, self-respect, excellence, and a love of dance, while creating solidarity. Majrorette enables our young students to be reminded of their personal empowerment through dance.

Tri M is a national music honor society / service group. There are music requirements as well as service hours requirements to maintain good standing. We have a process for application and induction for 10th-12th grade in the fall and 9th-11th in the spring. Students must participate in a recital for induction ceremonies.
