I am the Lead Secretary at Kingswood. I have been here since 2000. I started as a part-time Data Manager and moved into the role of Lead Secretary full time in 2005. I have 2 sons who both went to school here. I have 4 grandchildren, 3 of which have gone to school at Kingswood. I grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois and moved to North Carolina in 1995. I love the beach, I consider this my happy place where I can go and not have any stress.

This year is my fifth year working at Kingswood. I have been happily married to an amazing husband for over 30 years.  We have two girls, Ashley and Jessica.  Both of our girls went to school here so we have been part of this amazing Kingswood family since 1998. It has been fun being back with good friends and making many new ones.

I joined Kingswood in January of 2023. I have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 36 years. We have three beautiful kids; all of whom went through the WCPSS school system! They have blessed us with four amazing grandchildren that light up my world.

In my free time I enjoy taking short strolls around the neighborhood with my husband and our dog Ozzy, feeding my "pet" squirrels peanuts off the back porch and bird watching. Most of my summers are spent in the garden or playing with my grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors whether it be riding bikes, nature watching, or just taking a walk around the many trails in town. On a rainy day I love to curl up on the couch with a warm blanket and a good book.
