I am so excited to be an Oakview Owl!  This will be my 26th  year of teaching.  I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, and I have also earned my National Board Certification.  Throughout my career, I have taught kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.

I live in Holly Springs with my husband Mike, and our sweet dog, Hank.  I have two stepdaughters--Sophie is attending graduate school at Appalachian State University and Lilly will be a junior at NC State University. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends.  I also enjoy reading, trying new recipes, and working on decorating projects around the house.  I look forward to a great school year!
