Hi Oakview Families! I'm Lauren Tharrington and I am super excited to be joining the Oakview family and teaching 4th grade! I've been in Wake County since I was a child going to Salem Middle and Apex High School. I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Converse University where I played collegiate volleyball for 3 years! I live in Cary and love spending time with my two black cats, Loki and Nugget! Outside of teaching, I coach youth volleyball and I also enjoy cooking and finding new coffee shops around town! I look forward to meeting you and your rising fourth graders. It's going to be a great year!
