I am excited to start my 6th year at Oakview. I grew up in Statesville, NC and attended the UNC-CH! I moved to the Raleigh area when I student taught at Hunter Elementary. I have lived in the area since 1994.

I was a classroom teacher for eight years before staying home with my first son. I was lucky enough to stay home for four years with our first two sons. I returned to work when my oldest started kindergarten. I have three sons; Jackson (f19), Jake (Senior at AFHS), and Tyler (a rising 8th)!  This year is my 24thrd year of teaching. I have taught 4th grade for the past 9 years and I am excited to return to 3rd grade this year!!

I enjoy spending time with my three boys, watching UNC-CH sports, running, walking, reading, and teaching children!
