A native of Wake County, I’ve only lived outside of Wake County for 2.5 years! Truly, Wake County is home to me~ including my education. After teaching Middle School Mathematics for 11 years, I became a reading coach, and IA at the elementary level. My love for reading began to grow, and I pursued my MLS. Ever since, I’ve been in Library Media. Helping teachers find books to enrich their classes, helping parents find books to foster reading at home, and helping students find books for fun are my passions. Outside of school, I’m a  mom, mom-in-law, daughter, friend, sister, amateur radio operator, and wife of 35 years!
