Hello! My name is Artie Lewis and I am so excited to be teaching your child this year! I have been working in the Wake County Public School System since 2015 and began my career at Swift Creek in 2022. I graduated from NC State university and a proud wolf packer! I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades! In my time away from school, I love to read, spend time with my family, and enjoy time at the beach. I was born in Jordan and moved to the US in 2000. Travelled a lot and finally in 2010 my family and I moved to Raleigh. This will be my fourth year in Swift Creek Elementary School as a kindergarten Iistructional assistant. I am married and have 4 kids, 3 boys and a girl and I have 2 cats. Beside working at school I’m a licensed real estate agent, you’ll find me showing houses, driving around and taking pictures of our beautiful city. I also enjoy walks in nature and baking with my kids.

I am so excited for another school year at Swift Creek! Go Swifties! This will be my third year as an Instructional Assistant. I love seeing the joy students have when they realize that they have learned something new and watching them grow over the school year. I am from Cary, NC. I love to travel, run, hike, and watch sports. My favorite teams include Duke, NC State, the Carolina Panthers, the Carolina Hurricanes, the Dallas Cowboys, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and the Houston Astros.
