I’m proud to be an alumna of Swift Creek Elementary School! After graduating from East Carolina University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education, I began my teaching journey in Pitt County and even spent some time teaching in England. This year marks my tenth year teaching 1st grade here at Swift Creek — it’s truly a special place to be!
My husband, Jamie, and I have two fabulous children. Our daughter, Emmeline, is in Kindergarten and fills our days with laughter and smiles. Our son, Jack, will turn two in January — he’s our sweet, cuddly, and delightfully energetic little chap.
I love to travel and explore new places, and one of my life goals is to visit every continent — I’ve made it to four so far! When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me baking, spending time outdoors, or enjoying time with my family. I’m also a big NC State fan and love cheering on the Wolfpack, especially during football season!

My name is Ms. Arnold, and I am so excited to be joining Swift Creek this year! This will be my third-year teaching. I graduated with my Master's from High Point University in 2023. I decided to move to the Raleigh area for a new adventure! I am originally from Maine before moving to North Carolina for college. I have two cats named Nani and Maui, whom I love so much! My passion is education and making learning as fun as possible!

I am so happy to be back at Swift Creek as an Instructional Assistant for first grade. I’ve worked with children throughout most of my career, originally as a child therapist for many years, and then in various school settings as a teacher assistant. I grew up in South Florida, lived in South Florida after college, spent some time outside of Chicago, and then moved to North Carolina 4 years ago. I love to workout, run, hike, spend lots of time at the beach, and watch college football. I live in Apex with my husband, my two teen boys, and my two crazy dogs.
