🛠️ AllTimely & PACK Time – What Parents Need to Know

AllTimely is the online platform students use to schedule PACK Time activities. Here’s how it works and how you can support your student:

    • ✅ Students must sign up for at least one academic or enrichment activity per PACK Time day unless they have off-campus privileges.

    • 🧠 Study Hall and Remediation take priority. If your student is assigned an academic support session, they cannot choose lunch or other elective sessions that day.

    • 🕒 Students schedule for the entire week every Monday at 7:05 AM.

    • 📋 Encourage your student to select sessions that align with their academic needs. Using PACK Time wisely supports our school-wide goal of 80% mastery in all courses.

🚨 Skipping PACK Time is treated like skipping class and will result in disciplinary action.

    Reality of Money Simulation

Parents of Seniors:  We will be conducting a financial simulation on March 20th with all Economics and Personal Finance classes and need your help.  Students will be transformed into young adults with jobs and bills to pay.  We are in need of volunteers to help with this activity.  There is no experience necessary.  Please use the following link to register or email sjoyner@wcpss.net with questions.  https://tinyurl.com/25springROM

    2025 Spring Reality of Money

The SECU's Reality of Money allows students to make financial decisions about paying for housing, transportation and other monthly expenses as they are "transformed" into young adults with jobs and other responsibilities to manage. Volunteers will assist students as they move through various expense stations. Students are exposed to various financial learning points such as: the value of furthering their education after high school, the limiting effect bad credit has on their lifestyle choices and how to "live within their means".  This hands-on activity will ignite the student's passion for financial literacy and experiential learning! Please feel free to sign up for more than one time slot!  We will be offering lunch to all volunteers.  Please sign up for a lunch spot if you plan to stay for lunch.  Thank you! Please email Sarah Joyner at sjoyner@wcpss.net if you have any questions.

    SHELTER IN PLACE EVENT

    Families,

The safety of our students and staff is the number one priority for WCPSS.

Due to a brief tornado warning, our schools “Sheltered-in-Place” from 12:12 - 12:42 p.m. today.

Shelter-in-Place is similar to a tornado drill. Students and staff were relocated to spaces that are deemed safe areas of their school buildings. They were allowed to have organized and supervised restroom breaks, medical attention, food and water if necessary. During a Shelter-in-Place, no one is allowed in or out of the building.

Thank you for your continued support of our school.

    ⏳ P.A.C.K. Time / AllTimely
Wakefield High School uses AllTimely for students to schedule activities, including lunch and off-campus privileges, during P.A.C.K. Time. Parents can help by reinforcing the following expectations:

    • Students must sign up for at least one non-lunch activity per day unless they have off-campus privileges and passing all classes with an 80 or above.
    • Study Hall and Remediation take priority over off-campus lunch activities.
    • Attendance is mandatory. Skipping P.A.C.K. Time will result in disciplinary action.
Please encourage your student to use this time effectively to meet the 80% mastery goal in all courses.
    •

    School in Session

School will be in session on Monday, February 17. This day was originally scheduled as a teacher workday. However, due to losing instructional time because of HVAC issues, students should report to school on Monday during regular school hours.

    EOC Remediation/Readministration

As directed by the North Carolina Department of Instruction, Wakefield High School will hold remediation and readministration testing sessions for students who are “Not Proficient” on their EOC exam. 80% on the EOC is the benchmark for proficiency. EOC courses include English II, Biology, Math I, and Math III. Remediation and administration are scheduled for June 16-17. Parents of impacted students will be notified once all EOC scores are returned following the June administration.

    Registration

Students will begin registering for the 25-26 school year starting February 18th. Each student over a period of the next few weeks will meet with their counselor to review their course selections. All Registration information can be found on our Student Services website under Course Registration. Students were given their course selection forms on Friday 2/14 with instructions. Please take time to look at your student’s registration information.

    P.A.C.K. Time / AllTimely

    AllTimely is Wakefield’s chosen online platform for students and teachers to schedule all activities including lunch and off-campus privileges during P.A.C.K. Time. Activity sign up begins each Monday morning at 7:05, and students can register for the upcoming week all at once. As the parent, you can support your student by reinforcing the following;

    • Students must be signed up for at least one non-lunch activity each day unless they have selected off-campus privileges

    • Study Hall and Remediation activities supersede off-campus lunch activities. Students are not permitted to take both lunches if they are assigned to an activity by their teacher

    • P.A.C.K. Time attendance is mandatory. Skipping will result in disciplinary action similar to skipping the traditional instructional period

    • Discuss with your student their P.A.C.K. Time selections and support them in selecting activities that support their learning. Our goal is for all students to achieve 80% mastery in all of their courses. Parental participation in discussing time management of this period can be positively influential.
