Math Matters at Green 

At Green Elementary, teachers follow the North Carolina Standard Course of Study K-8 Mathematics.  They utilize the WCPSS modeled lessons, guided practice, individual practice and small group opportunites.  We follow the NC scope and sequence as well.

We are pleased to announce the addition of DreamBox Learning to our math curriculum.  DreamBox is a supplemental digital math program that differentiates math content based upon your individual child's math needs.  It provides engaging lessons and resources for students, as well as gives teachers and parents detailed information about their child's mathematical understandings.  It is hands-on, manipulative-rich, highly engaging and proven to improve student understanding of math content.
