Mr. Xavier Wallace
Mr. Wallace began his career in education with Durham Public Schools, teaching 2nd grade at Club Boulevard Humanities Magnet Elementary School in 2014. During this time, Mr. Wallace helped facilitate several Cultural Projects/Events, assisted in implementing clubs and school activities, championed a Chess Club and always remained present in the community! Mr. Wallace then transitioned to Northern High School to complete an Administrative Internship. While at NHS, Mr. Wallace created a program called Young Men and Women of Progress, which charged students with the task of becoming outstanding scholars and even better citizens of the school and their communities. In August of 2018, Mr. Wallace assumed a Dean of Students role at Parkwood Elementary School where he implemented procedures and practices for teachers to better support students. Many strategies were centered around PBIS and Restorative Justice.

With high aspirations, Mr. Wallace is committed to aiding in the academic and social advancement of students and is excited to be a South Garner High School TITAN!
