Principal Faison is in his 25^th year of education, beginning his career in the Wayne County Public School System, where he was born and raised.  He is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, located in Hickory, NC, where he was a key player for the men's basketball team and earned a degree in Sports Management.  He later obtained his teaching and administrative credentials from East Carolina University in Greeneville, NC.  During his tenure, Principal Faison gained a wealth of experiences at the elementary, middle, and high school levels across the span of the Wayne County, Johnston County, and Wake County Public School Systems.   Mr. Faison joined the Wake County School System in 2008 as an Assistant Principal at East Garner Middle.  He later transitioned to the elementary level where he served as an Assistant Principal at Ballentine Elementary and Walnut Creek Elementary, before being named as Principal of Apex Elementary in 2015.  Mr. Faison has most recently served proudly as the principal of Holly Ridge Middle School, Home of the Hornets.  He is excited to return to the community where it all started back in 2008.  Principal Keith Faison's vision is for South Garner High School to become the flagship high school in the Wake County Public School System.
