I am extremely humbled and excited to join South Garner High School as the new assistant principal. Building and fostering relationships within the SGHS community is something that excites me as we continue to strive for excellence. As the newest Titan, I will work to understand, support and help lead our school community. 

I am originally from Central America- Nicaragua. As an English Learner, coming to the United States had a huge impact on who I am today and why I chose education as a career. I was lucky enough as a child in the public school system to have educators that saw my worth, and saw something special in me that I could not see. My journey has afforded me a variety of experiences that have helped to shape my leadership. I have been in education for the last 17 years. I have served in educational roles in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, Wake County Public Schools and Durham Public Schools; I have served as both a teacher and administrator.

I believe it is my duty and my calling to continue to create systems of support that give all students the absolute best and highest quality of learning experiences and opportunities.  I am so humbled and honored to be part of the SGHS team.
