My name is Adam Barabasz, and I am excited to begin my sixth year as Assistant Principal here at Laurel Park Elementary. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this amazing community. I have been consistently impressed with the students, families, and staff of our school. Prior to Laurel Park, I was an Assistant Principal at Lufkin Road Middle School in Apex for five years. I've proudly served the Apex/Cary community for the past 17 years in education. 

I am the proud father of two children who both received their education in the Wake County School system. In addition to spending time with family, I am passionate about all things Buffalo, NY. I grew up in Buffalo and have enjoyed the ups and downs of Buffalo sports teams for my entire life. I also enjoy golf, reading, and supporting Apex restaurants.
