My name is Mark Edwards, I am the Physical Education teacher. I am very excited to see all the new and returning penguins on the path to success. I grew up in the state of Iowa. Along with getting a college degree in Physical Education I played both basketball and baseball in college. After teaching one year in Iowa, I moved to North Carolina for the warmer weather and continue to teach. I went to NCSU and earned a masters degree in School Administration in 2004.

My favorite colors are black and gold, Go Hawkeyes. I love watching anything related to sports and try to play the ones I still can. I enjoy going to the beach and flying kites, boogie boarding and reading a good book.
