Application Need To Know Information 

In order to be eligible to apply to the Academy of Technology & Advanced Manufacturing, students must be assigned to Cary High School as their base school. The Academy will have an open and equitable student recruitment process that results in a student body that reflects the demographics of the school community.  A lottery is used to determine acceptance into the Academy.  The academy is designed as a four-year high school program.  Students are expected to commit to the program for the duration of their high school experience.  The academy requires specific courses as well as an internship before high school graduation.  The application period will run from February 1 to April 15th. An announcement will be placed on the home page of this site when the applications window opens up. Please note that students will need two teachers and/or a guidance counselor's recommendations.  Please provide contact information for those who are providing your recommendations. This should include a current email address. Teachers will be sent a link via email to complete the recommendation.  We do not accept any paper copies of applications or teacher recommendations.
