My name is Mindy Reif and I have been working as a Special Education Teacher for 14 years in Wake County. This will be my first year as a Falcon and I am very excited. I graduated from North Carolina State University (2000) and then attended Peace College to add my Elementary and Special Education certification. I am currently attending grad school for a Master's Degree in Special Education. My passion has always been to support and advocate for families and students. The more I can learn, the more I can help your child learn. 

 

I grew up in upstate New York but have lived in North Carolina since I was 15 years old. My husband is also a special education teacher in Wake County. I have a 20-year-old son that is a junior at UNC-Charlotte. I have a 20-year-old stepson that is a camp counselor in North Carolina. I also have a 5-year-old son that will be starting Kindergarten at North Forest Pines in August. Last but certainly not least, I have a 3-year-old daughter that is definitely the princess of the house. I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach or camping in the mountains. My most favorite thing is reading, especially mystery novels!
