Hi fabulous Apex Cougars! I am Mrs. Devlin and I am so excited to be the Instructional Facilitator and Literacy Coach this year! All of us at AES are ready to make this the best year yet!

Now, for a little more about me! I am originally from Long Island, New York and moved to Apex 20 years ago. I attended Molloy College where I majored in Elementary Education and later attended Hofstra University where I received a Masters in Early Childhood Education. In 2020 I went back to graduate school at UNC Chapel Hill where I got my Masters Degree in School Administration. I have been in education for over 20 years and I've been at Apex Elementary for 4 years. I enjoy being a part of this amazing community. Before I arrived at Apex Elementary I taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. I also worked in Central Office for a number of years. I live in Cary with my husband, Kevin, and our adorable dog, Charlie. My daughter Grace is 22 and recently graduated from Meredith College. She lives in Raleigh with friends and works for the Meredith Autism Program. My son Kevin is 24, and lives in Coats with his basset hound, Miller.

When I'm not at Apex Elementary, I love yoga, walking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a major pickleball buff and love play in tournaments when I can.
