I am excited to be starting my 2nd year as counselor at Apex Elementary!

I was born and raised in Apex and I am grateful that I get to work in the community I love. I went to Campbell University for undergrad (psychology) and graduate school (school counseling). I have been an elementary school counselor for 17 years. I live in Apex with my husband Justin, daughter Kaylie (age 13), and son Kent (age 8) and two dogs, Maddie and Maisie.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping at Costco, traveling, and exercising.
