Hi Yates Mill Families! My name is Sarah Garvey and I am a part of the wonderful 3rd Grade Team! This is my 5th year teaching and 2nd year at YMES!
I grew up in Greensboro, NC before moving to Boone to attend App State. Go Mountaineers!! I moved to Raleigh in 2017 and have loved every bit of it. My husband, Matt, and I have 2 dogs, Evie and Zoey, who are super rambunctious and cuddly. In my free time, I like to read, knit, play with our pups, and spend time on the Pamlico River in Bath, NC. 
 
I cannot wait to have an AWESOME year learning a lot and having fun doing it!
