    Hello Bulldog families!

    I hope you have had a great weekend! Here is the Bulldog Blast for your review. Thanks to all who participated in our FUNdraiser for the PTA = our annual Penny Wars event. We had a very exciting and competative week for sure. Here are the final standings:

    And the 2026 Penny Wars winner is… 2ND GRADE!

    Your finalists:

    1st place: 2nd Grade — $821.20
    2nd place: Kindergarten — $484.13
    3rd place: 1st Grade — $436.09

    2nd Grade claims the Bulldog Trophy and an ice cream sundae party! They also remain undefeated in Penny Wars. BUT the competition was close and every grade put up a great fight (especially on Friday with over $1,400 in silver sabotage)!

    Altogether, York raised an incredible $4,956.27 and collected 238.8 pounds of coins during this week’s fundraiser. What an amazing turnout!

    We loved seeing the students excited and involved. We saw them bringing coins, planning clever strategies, and, most importantly, displaying great sportsmanship throughout the competition.

    Thanks for helping make Penny Wars such a success! Looking forward to another great week with our students at York!
