PGES Girls on the Run

Any and all girls at PGES who are currently in 3-5 are able to participate in Girls on the Run. These girls will experience an after school program that will allow every girl to recognize her inner strength and inspires girls to define their lives on their own terms. The Girls on the Run curriculum and lessons encourages positive social, mental, emotional, and physical development. During the 10 week program, they will make new friends, build their confidence and celebrate all that makes them unique, while also learning skills and strategies to help them navigate through life experiences. At the end of each season, the girls participate in a Girls on the Run 5k event; a fun, celebratory, non-competitive event and culminating experience of the curriculum.  Crossing the finish line is the moment when GOTR girls realize the seemingly impossible IS possible!

• Pleasant Grove Elementary runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM.
