First Grade Flyers

Welcome to First Grade!  Our students will be learning about balance and motion, pebbles, sand, and silt in science this year. They will also be learning about place value, shapes, adding/subtracting within 20, and learning how to write opinions. Additionally, students will continue to expand their vocabulary through reading and writing. In English Language Arts, students will be reading fiction and nonfiction texts to enhance their reading comprehension.
