Greetings! My name is Michelle Pettey and I am very excited to be teaching first grade at Pleasant Grove. I consider myself a Raleigh "native" as I have lived here since I was three weeks old! Many moons ago I obtained my teaching degree from UNC and have over twenty- two years of teaching experience right here in Wake County. Although I have experience in many different grade levels, my heart is in first grade! I have two amazing daughters who also grew up attending Wake County schools. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, friends; my dog; watching ACC sports; cooking; reading, shopping, and exercising. I am looking forward to another wonderful year here at Pleasant Grove!
