Carpool

Keeping your children safe is important to us at Lynn Road Elementary School.

Families do not need to apply for a carpool number. All students will be receiving new car tag numbers this school year. Families will receive two hanging car tags.

Morning Procedures

We begin carpool at 8 a.m. and end at 8:30 a.m. Please do not drop your child off before 8:00 a.m. If your child is not in the building by 8:30 but in the carpool route, they still may be considered tardy, and you will be asked to go to the office and sign them in. We remind all families that all cars have to go all the way around the carpool route. Cars cannot stop at the curve or by the curb to drop students off. Please do not pull up in the parking lot and drop your child off at the crosswalk. All students need to be dropped off through the carpool lane.

 
Afternoon Procedures

School is dismissed at 3 p.m. Students going home via carpool will be called using their car tag number. Students will be directed to stand at colored cones. When pulling around the carpool loop, please pull all the way up as you approach the sidewalk. Families can pick up students in their vehicle via the carpool line or the walker door if the address is within 1.5 miles. Students may not be checked out from the office from 2:45- 3:30 p.m. If you wish to pick your child up early, please come before 2:45 pm.
