Hilburn Academy Academically / Gifted Program

The Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Program provides an appropriately challenging education for students who perform or show potential for performing at considerably high levels of accomplishment with consistency, when compared to others of their age, experience, or environment. Services for AIG students include a differentiated curriculum and instruction that extends and enriches Common Core State Standards. 

At Hilburn Academy, we strive to meet the distinct academic, social, and emotional needs of our gifted students. Administrators, teachers, and support staff work cooperatively to help ensure that our gifted learners are actively engaged in challenging and relevant learning experiences. This is achieved through collaboration with classroom teachers, pullout classes, staying abreast of current research, and implementing best practices. Of course, we can't do it without parent support. Together, we will have a wonderful year.
