Blended Courses

At Green Level HS, we offer a number of blended courses in which which students in both the academic and honors level are taught within the same class. Within these courses, all students are provided access to relevant and rigorous instruction; however, due to the differing needs of students, teachers utilize different approaches, resources, and supports to assist students in mastering required content and skills. In some cases—as is the case with many blended courses in CTE—there are often additional projects that students must complete when enrolled in certain courses for honors credit due to the extra GPA quality points students may receive from successfully passing the course.

When students request a course that is blended classes, they are automatically enrolled in the honors (advanced) section to promote access to rigorous instruction; however, they are provided an opportunity within the first quarter (generally around interims) to initiate a level change.
