Special Education Teacher - Mr. Chris Johnson(2nd row 4th over):

I am Chris Johnson and I am beginning my 21st year in Special Education at Baucom ES. I adore this school and believe we have the best staff imaginable across grade levels, specialists and Administration. My three daughters all attended Baucom and continue to reference the school and teachers as their best learning experience growing up.

My wife and I am, through my Kentucky alumni spouse, a rabid Kentucky Men’s Basketball fan. GO WILDCATS! But I do understand there are some local teams with some following.

I am a proud father of 2 two-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi brothers, Angus (Angus Young, AC/DC) and Presley (yes, Elvis, my daughter is a huge fan). I adore them and in return they bark and wrestle incessantly.

I will be retiring at year's end. Not certain that will be all joy as I love my peers and students.
