    Students at Vernon Malone College and Career Academy complete studies in one of these Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs as part of their high school graduation credits.  VMCCA is a partnership between the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) and Wake Technical Community College (WTCC). VMCCA students have the opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma, a Wake Tech certificate, college credits, recognized industry credentials and work experience.

    EARN ADDITIONAL TUITION-FREE COLLEGE CREDIT BY TAKING 5TH PERIOD COURSES!

    Optional tuition-free general education courses are offered after school in a 5th period setting.  These courses can transfer to any UNC system college/university.

    EARN EVEN MORE TUITION-FREE COLLEGE CREDIT BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF GRADE 13!

    Optional tuition-free program area courses are offered to students working toward completing the AAS degree by becoming a full-time college student during the 13th year.
